The Flowers have been going from strength to strength since their debut, scoring triple j rotation and praise from Richard Kingsmill for their debut single “Truly Madly Sleepy”, as well as national radio support for follow up singles “Origami” and “Summer Saviour”.
Their recent collaboration with fellow indie pop maven Sarah Wolfe, “100 Times”, was added to rotation on triple j Unearthed and received praise from NME, Music Feeds, Women In Pop, Thomas Bleach and more.
The band have also opened up for Jess Day, Great Gable and Timi Temple, headlined at Sydney's Vic on the Park and Golden Age, landed themselves in the top 50 most played artists on triple j Unearthed, and surpassed 150,000 streams on Spotify - all in just over a year!
In 2020, The Flowers have been busying themselves in the studio with producer Peter Holz (Peking Duk, Vance Joy) to complete their debut EP, and with this first taste it’s clear that they’re poised to deliver on their building buzz as one the nation’s most exciting new bands.
