Officially forming in 2013 but self-producing and jamming in their garage since 2008, The Vultures released two self-titled EPs and a loose single (aka ‘Night Rock’) in their first two years, receiving an award for Most Innovative Music Video from the Australian Independent Music Video Awards and a Song of the Year nomination from the Gold Coast Music Awards.
Gold Coast-based duo Liam Bowditch and Joe Bon MacPhail from The Vultures have undeniable in the pocket chemistry on stage and in the studio. The band describe themselves as explorative rock and roll who are not shy of taking risks to push the boundaries of their sonic palette.
After a five-year hiatus, Bowditch and MacPhail rekindled the fire journeying to Berlin, spurring the release of comeback anthems ‘Every Night’, ‘If You Only Knew Your Way’ and ‘Conversations’.
The talented duo are excited to announce their debut album ESCOBAR is set to release on 8th November.
