Wellington-based producer and performer, Estère gives you a side of music you’ve never heard before. Estère’s production paints a canvas of unique juxtaposition which perfectly fits her self-made genre ‘Electric Blue Witch-Hop’.
Her 2018 two part album MY DESIGN, ON OTHERS’ LIVES recorded at her home studio in her 40’s Wellington villa explores the meaty side of electronic music. With succulent bass and weighty drums then contrasting with the warm ethereal side of pop and jazz melodies, Estère will leave you wanting more.
Devoted to break the mould and escape popular music’s limited scope of ‘personal dilemma’, the albums conjure meaningful narratives about kids obsessed with technology, displaced refugees, calling out to colonisation and controlling urges (to name a few).
